The Sales Development Associate role is a full-time entry-level sales position for a multi-national technology manufacturer with the opportunity for rapid promotion and frequent travel. This is the first step in a 2-year career development program that provides the necessary training for a successful career in the fast-paced and exciting technology sales industry. By the time you’ve completed our sales development program, you’ll have become a Brother sales expert, traveled the country meeting our customers, and will be ready for the next step in your Brother sales career.
Our Sales Development Program at a Glance
Start this career program in our Sales Development Associate role, learning the products, programs, and customers you’ll need to know to succeed in a Brother sales career. Then, after only 6-9 months, you’ll be eligible for a promotion to our Sales Development Specialist role. In the Specialist role, you’ll continue to support our customers in the field, helping to build close relationships and uncover new business opportunities for the next 6-9 months. In our third and final phase of the program, you’ll continue in your role of Sales Development Specialist, rotating through a selection of sales channels to determine a strong fit for your career as an Account Manager at Brother. We expect that successful candidates will complete all three phases of our Sales Development Program and earn two promotions within their first few years at the company! Successful Sales Development team members are encouraged to apply for internal opportunities and must obtain next-level positions within 30 months from their date of hire to continue their careers at Brother.

This team identifies and achieves their goals by maintaining consistent contact with their customers and ensuring detailed monthly product forecasts.
SMB Dealer Team
This team is responsible for accelerating reseller and copier dealer hardware/supply deals by driving sell-through and building relationships within their territory.
This team focuses on developing strong relationships with key customer reps within their defined territory, and leverages these relationships to create a strong pipeline of leads for our end-user team.
Inside Sales Team
This team supports our Brother Authorized Partners in the B2B sales channel and drives new opportunities in conjunction with the SMB Dealer team.
This team supports our office-products and information technology distributor/wholesaler accounts to drive business through the B2B and B2C sales channels.
