Brother's Interview Experience

Application
In order to maintain an equitable and consistent process for all of our roles, you will need to submit an application in order to be considered part of the candidate pipeline.

Our team may not be able to respond to your solicitations outside of the process due to volume, and our commitment to that experience.
Resume Review
We receive hundreds and sometimes thousands of applications for each of our open roles. Your application and resume will be reviewed, and your candidacy will advance if your skills and experience most closely match the hiring team's needs.

We are not positioned to provide status updates on individual candidacy.
Recruiter Screening
If your application is a match, one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists will reach out to you to schedule a screening call.

This conversation will review your experience, salary expectations, understanding of the role and its schedule, and any questions you have about the company or position.
Manager Interview
The next step in our process is a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager, usually conducted via a video conferencing platform.

The manager will be able to tell you even more about the role and their expectations, for the successful candidate, while also learning more from you about your past work experience and how you will leverage it at Brother.
Team Interviews
Matching a candidate to a new role is a big decision, not just for the company, but for you as the candidate.  We make sure you have the chance to meet additional stakeholders of the position as part of our process.  Usually, there will be 1-2 rounds of interviews at this stage, often in pairs to simplify the experience.

Common topics assessed in these rounds include communication, collaboration, and culture.
Leadership Interview
For leadership roles at the Director level and higher, we will often have members of our executive team or even our Board participate in a final interview, to understand your leadership style and how it aligns to our leadership attributes:

- Trustworthy -
- Engages Talent -
- Leads Through Complexity -
Decision & Offer
After completing all interviews, our hiring team will make their selection, and your recruiter will reach you to inform you of the business's decision.

If you are selected, you will be presented all the details of your offer, including salary, applicable variable pay programs, the company's time off and benefits offerings, and an anticipated start date.

This will be a verbal offer that requires a verbal response. Our letters are more like "offer acceptance confirmation letters" as they take a few days to generate, so yours will only reach you after you've accepted and confirmed a start date.
Pre-Hire Processes
Once you've accepted an offer to join Brother, we have lots to do to prepare for your arrival.  Be sure to check your email regularly for communications from your recruiter, your manager, and especially our HR Solutions Team, who will be providing you your offer (acceptance confirmation) letter, and initiating your pre-hire processes like background check and drug screen.

Meanwhile, we'll be preparing your workspace, equipment, accounts, and onboarding plan for a smooth transition into our organization.
