The Associate, BMS Operations assembles kits using work instructions and other tools and technical documents. This role also packs product for shipping according to work instructions and specification sheets as well as adheres to company policies regarding product shipping.***
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Production Operations
- Identify and assemble various BMS parts according to work instructions, pulling the part and adding components per the customer order
- Inspect parts and units according to the specification in design drawings and work instructions
- Pack units and build kits according to work instructions
- Use power or hand tools to make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards
- Use test equipment to confirm the unit is in good working condition
- Report problems or abnormal issues found with material, parts or equipment
- Accurately ship product according to Company standards and work instructions
- Use WMS to complete putaways and to pick and process orders for shipping.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect work at designated check points before proceeding to the step
- Verify correct components have been picked and staged for the assembly line
- Conduct complex quality inspection to ensure quality standards are met

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Education
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) Required
- Associate's Degree General Education Preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years Assembling/Packaging/Kitting products in a high-volume manufacturing facility Required
- Minimum 1 year Working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Other Forklift license/certification to include sit down, order picker, reach truck. Required Languages
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and technical documents Intermediate Required
- PC skills to include running reports, reading and sending emails Intermediate Required
Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills Required
- Fast learner and self-motivated Required
- Ability to work independently Required
- Ability to coordinate work with team members Required

- The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $33,300-$41,600 per year ($16.01-$20.00/hr.)
- Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
