The Analyst, Treasury is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the day-to-day transactional Treasury activities for the Americas region. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of the daily cash needs, cash flow forecasting, monthly account reconciliations and journal entries. Additionally, this role will support the team with any special projects as assigned and serve as a backup for the Account Payable team members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Treasury
Treasury Operations
- Prepare cash needs and reconcile the inter-company loan activity on a daily basis
- Analyze vendor invoices for accuracy, resolving issues as necessary, and ensuring accurate and timely vendor bill creation
- Proactively follow-up with any banking issues with either internal teams or bank to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Respond to banking inquiries, research, and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare the monthly cash forecasting file, including explanations for variances and changes impacting cash
- Prepare month-end cash, foreign exchange, bank fees, credit card charges and other banking journal entries, analysis and reconciliations
- Manage bank account and compliance reporting
Reporting and Account Reconciliations
- Prepare, review and analyze select general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
- Perform reconciliation of general ledger and other accounts as assigned; ensure account reconciliations are performed monthly, and reconciling items are resolved in a timely basis
- monitor internal controls in relation to the Treasury functions
- Review applicable accounting reports to ensure accuracy
- Report any banking issues to management and work with the various groups to resolve in a timely manner
- Support documentation preparation for external audit requirements
- Escalate journal entries for manager’s review and approval
- Support any special projects and other tasks as assigned
Accounts Payable System Support
- Serve as backup for system maintenance for banking portal
- Serve as backup for banking portal - research/resolve inquiries/issues
- Collaborate with management and employees to identify internal control and operational deficiencies

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance , Accounting, or related fields– Required
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a Treasury Department and/or with Cash Management
Software/ Technical Skills
- MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables Intermediate- Required
- Knowledge of Financial Systems such as SAP S4 Hana, Concur and Zycus- Preferred
Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently to meet the objectives of the department
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
- Thorough understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.

- The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $82,000 - $92,000 per year
- Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
- This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always “at your side” for our customers.
